MEMBER PROFILE DEA members are owners or principals of companies from the Metropolitan Detroit area. They are in a position to control their firm's purchasing power and are obligated to make a strong effort to give business and leads to other members.
JOINING THE GROUP If a prospective member’s business classification is open, s/he can be sponsored by a current member. An application must be submitted for review by the Board of Directors. Membership commences upon approval. A member may nominate an associate to represent him/her at any regular meeting the member is unable to attend.
DUTIES, DUES, and the DAC Members who reap the most benefits are active on committees, attend the meetings regularly and seek out other members for business or service for themselves, employees, friends and family. Current dues are $225 and are invoiced quarterly. Members meet every Thursday from noon to 1:30 pm at the Detroit Athletic Club.
